There is no perfect candidate. Everyone has flaws . Nobody can please everyone. People want a 35 year candidate with 40 Years experience who is an outsider who can connect with insiders to get things done but who never makes compromises and is the ideal human being without being “too perfect” who connects to the older generation and youthful generations simultaneously and is independently wealthy from a humble farm . They want a down to earth realistic wacky magical candidate that has never existed before and never will exist in the future. Perfection isn’t possible so people try to sell the impossible which leads to eventual dissatisfaction and disappointment. Newcomers will never be experienced enough and experienced candidate will never be fresh enough. Once everyone understands this statement and stops wanting impossible things that is when we can have realistic candidates that can win and do the most good for most people. I’m not saying Biden is good enough but what I’m saying that people need to get pragmatic and stop being so stupid and idealistic when picking leaders . Obama wasn’t perfect and neither was Reagan , stop idolizing human beings. This statement is for Republicans , Democrats and Independents to hear .
He'll be almost 80 when he would be sworn in as President. The Democratic Party needs strong newcomers who can carve out the future of the party in the post-Trump era, there'll be a huge need to fix things.
I don’t get the feeling he is trying to run. I sense that he is available if no qualified Dem steps up to the plate. We could do far worse.
You won’t win in 2020 with more status quo democrats. Progressives will NOT bite. And it won’t be their fault when Trump wins again, it’ll be yours, the Democrats fault, for continuously demanding people fall in lockstep with their wall st neoliberal agenda. Gay rights, but let’s bomb the Middle East! 🤤
No he is not the front runner by any stretch of imagination. The only ones who feel this way is the media hype period.
Bidn is not the front runner. Bernie Sanders is. EVERY poll so far indicates this, and Bernie never lost his momentum.
There is a long, long time before the election. It’s way too early for this. Let’s get through the mid-terms first.
I’d love to see some new blood in the White House, but I think when all is said and done, it’s going to take someone with a lot of experience to clean up the shitshow that the Trump administration leaves behind.
Joe Kennedy feels out of step, not Joe Biden.
I’m all about substance and Biden’s got it. Tops any list so far.
