So Gov Moonbeam....WHO paid for your trip? Airfare, hotel, security detail, food, travel by limo, and of course your very own pot pipe!! In case you care... the citizens want YOU to PAY FOR THIS VACATION, to Europe!!
In the meantime, here sits a fifth generation Californian, working poor, not collecting any welfare of any kind, working my butt off to survive being forced to pay MORE gas taxes (which I can barely afford now), and a HUGE increase on my car registration that I can't afford along with all the rest of you BS taxes that make it hard for me to survive living in the state - watching you while you spend my hard earned tax dollars on free legal protection for criminal illegal aliens (allowing me to be less safe too), trains to nowhere, climate and banning good states for not agreeing with your ideology. You are sacrificing me and those like me in order to chase your own far leftist views and are ruining our state! You are literally taking food off my table and you absolutely don't care. To me and millions like me, it's "let them eat cake" from you.... that's all I can hear
Trump should have Customs hold him or better yet transport him to GITMO where he can be properly checked. or put him on the no fly list good luck getting back.
I am a citizen of the USA 🇺🇸 living in California. I am not global citizen. Brown you had no business being there. That is why we elected President Trump and not you or Hillary.
Jerry Brown is a complete imbecile. He is NOT President of the USA and does NOT represent a majority of Americans. You Dems are the MINORITY, which is why Hillary lost. Instead of playing POTUS in Germany, Brown should be in California helping raise funding to fight fires or rebuilding our dilapidated Interstate system.. Moonbeam Brown is a horrible governor. Moonbeam ran California into the ground in the 70s & 80s and is doing it again. #RECALLBROWN Moonbeam Brown is truly a curse to this state. #NOTMYGOVERNOR
The anything but liberal, liberals especially the open border California nuts, are not going to like these facts. At the current level of 1.5 million immigrants per year, America’s population of 306 million is set to increase to over 700 million people by 2100. the reality is that across the country, environmentalists are losing the battle to create a sustainable society and protect wild nature. Sprawl development destroys 2.2 million acres of wild lands and agricultural lands each year; over 1300 plant and animal species remain on the endangered species list, with more added each year; water shortages in the west and southeast are being used to justify new river-killing dams and reservoirs; and U.S. carbon emissions continue to rise. Obviously, we haven’t figured out how to create a sustainable society with 300 million inhabitants. It’s not plausible to think we will be able to do so with two or three times as many people. https://cis.org/Environmental-Argument-Reducing-Immigration-United-States
3 times the governor gave his word that the teachers at Scandinavian Middle School in Fresno Unified would be paid after 9 long years, and 3 times he broke his word. No wonder people have such a low regard for politicians!
Thank you Governor Brown, for standing up for our planet. For those nitwits supporting Trump, there is no hope. But there are many more Americans who DO care about what is happening. It is truly sickening to see someone like him, and the GOP, who are standing in the way of progress.
Governor Brown, with all due respect, with regards to your remarks about progressives being too far to the left. I'd like to point out that the Clinton neoliberal Third Way approach loses elections. The people are not there. Even the economists at the IMF now recognize that it has hollowed out first world economies. The Democrats keep losing statehouses, midterms etc. because the establishment Democrats have little enthusiasm behind them, except from those donors whose interests you are seeking to protect.
As reported by Blasting News, Article 1, Section 10, Paragraph 1 states, notes, “No State shall enter into any Treaty, Alliance, or Confederation.” The base for this prohibition should be evident to anyone who is aware of the repercussions of state and local governments having separate foreign policy.
