I saw a PETA video where they claimed ranchers kill their sheep to sheer them. Stupidest thing I've ever heard, but the liberals believe it.
This story is ridiculous. While the activists were uneducated and foolish, this article is a joke victimizing the fur farmer. He's only upset because of the crime committed and loss of profit and the article should simply state that. To say he "loved the animals" is bull. He raises innocent animals until they get large enough (which by the way is only a few months old and well below their life expectancy) to slit their throats and skin them for a completely unnecessary fashion accessory.
If I want to eat meat, wear a pelt as a hat or anything else it my decision. No one has the right to tell me I can't fish or hunt for my food. These brainwashed nuts need to look at thing from both points of view. I feel for the family because even though the minks would have been killed at a later date that family still took great care for them. They do love them. We raised hogs to eat for thirteen years and we loved every one of them, but we knew that they were food. Praying for farmer and that the people responsible are arrested.
Funny these people are worried about mink and maybe other animals. But in my next F.B. story the people in Oregon are for killing babies right up to the time they born. So it's O.K. to kill human babies but not mink or chickens or whatever??????? This is today's America???
I thought it was now illegal to raise animals for the unscrupulous purpose of making fur coats. If not it should be and humans should exemplify the compassion and conservatism to protect all species of animals from exploitation.
After many on line arguments with radical animal rights activists (RARAs), I can imagine that their response to this widespread slaughter of minks is that it was better for them to die "free", than to be enslaved and murdered by evil humans for (God forbid) profit. There is something seriously wrong with how their minds work. They think extinction is preferable to human ownership.
He was crying because he lost 3/4 of million in cash, lol. Certainly not because he loves the mink! I don't agree with the activist actions either, but to imply this guy was upset about the animals deaths when he kills them for a living is hogwash. He was upset about his wallet. 🤣
It may be an apochrophyl story, but the first time I heard about PETA was their first successful protest was to shut down deer hunting on an island. With no natural predators the deer population ballooned until all the deer were starving, and the state had to go in and shoot them.
Proud member of PETA!!
And the morons who did this need to be set free in the wilderness they have never been in, with nothing and a how long they live!!
While I am at it lets talk about fur bearing animals.....I am so rural I consider myself a Rural Seperatist. Where I live we have numerous fur bearing critters that should only be considered a renewable resource. But with all the ARF (Animal Rights Fanatics) attacks on fur clothing these animals are now not being controlled and their fur is not utilized. Big issue if you live out here.....the majority of them are pest if their populations grow......so you know what....we still trap and shoot them......they are just wasted. Thats why urban ARFs need to stay out of rural animal conservation and stick with neutering and spaying.
