It is about time , my advice to you is to invest in the next economy , AI , and it is here to stay , if I were you I will invest tremendously in training the next generation by emulating Germany creating technical school on all their cities to start training their kids in servo mechanism , complex algorithm that will be driving the robot in the assembly line . Anything that have to do with automation of the next generation of factory industrial automation . And you do not have to reinvent the wheel just copy Germany and make it our own . Florida with one of the largest population must diversify it economy , can't be a tourism dependent . It is time Scott to bring the next generation of automated manufacturing to Florida hi paying jobs and making Florida resilient to market trend . The technical school here are to theoretical it is time to bring the practical aspect of it to the classroom .
Ok trump supporters this is how my state is doing the budget to help our kids hat includes $419 million in charter-school incentives and pay bonuses for teachers and principals but is opposed by major education groups.while The special session, to be held from June 7th to the 9th, will focus on increasing K-12 funding to $100 per student. How in the hell is this putting Education back into parents hands ? What is telling me Government telling parents and students Charter schools or no schools that is our choice. And Parents in case most do not understand a Charter school is not accountable for anything they do.
Keep in mind we have a few of the best universities , it is time to use them and partnering with local automation manufacturing companies . Please invest please invest , the return on that investment will be priceless tomorrow . Each of our university should be an incubator for the revolution that is here to stay . Come on let's go . I am not even American but since I am living here I am American and proud to be an American by default .
Why don't you get to work creating jobs in the solar industry? There's no reason that the SUNSHINE State should be 26th in the country for solar.
From solarpowerrocks.com:"Florida is the most baffling of all the states when it comes to solar. It’s literally called “The Sunshine State,” yet it bans third-party solar (PPAs), and was this year subjected to a shameful, misleading solar ballot initiative put forth by a utility-backed political group. Thankfully, that measure was defeated. Hopefully, Florida voters have been awakened to the shenanigans going on in their state’s energy markets. We really hope you figure this one out, Floridians, and stop big utilities from building fossil fuel plants on your dime while denying you the most basic of low-cost solar choice. Kick out those legislators and demand that the Sunshine State not be in the bottom half of the country for solar policy."
With Trump bowing out of the Paris agreement, it's up to the states to step up. As one of the states that has been, and will be, most affected by climate change, Florida should be leading the charge for renewable energy.
If you won't do it, we'll replace you with someone who will.
Bunch of idiots! Charter schools to benefit most 😡, medical marijuana still inactive and not going forward 😡. Cant wait to cast my vote against this governor!!
I guess none of the Florida legislators has a child or a family member that suffers with thousands of seizures a week. If they did they would know how their loved one suffers and they would be screaming from the top of the capital building for implementation of the medical marijuana bill.
Can you explain why we cant leave a message for you on the weekends? Ridiculous! I dont care if the Governor's office is closed, there should be a COMMENT Line open 24/7 for the citizens of Florida to give you feedback Governor Rick Scott. Listen to your constituents!
Yes . Let go to work the smart way , not minimum wages because it has no effect in the national economy , when you work just to pay rent and eat does not live any room to buy stuff thus paying sales tax and creating that domino effect that fuel the economy . Let use our school as incubator for the next generation of tax payers .
As a public school teacher in Hillsborough County, where the school I work at is 93% free and reduced lunch, 73% Hispanic English Language Learners I plead with everyone to oppose this bill. It is hugely detrimental to OUR children in the state of Florida.
Governor, I hope you will join other governors and denounce the president's decision to pull out of the Paris Climate agreement and uphold it in our state, which is very vulnerable to environmental changes. Please show true leadership in this issue.
