No one is saying he can't kneel for the National Anthem. It's a free country. But actions have consequences. He is free to take a knee, and we are free to be offended and spend our time doing other things rather than watch his sport. He can make his choice, and we can make our choice. And we have . . .
Spousal & partner abuse needs to stop also but you all aren’t saying much in support of that! Another football player abused his wife this weekend, what say you about that? Or is that just part of the culture?
I think people should worry less about their “rights” and worry more about what the right thing to do is. Respect is sorely lacking these days. Any brutality is not right but the anthem should be respected.
Who cares? Is Kobe a decorated veteran who put his life on the line for our country, or is he another whiny overpaid athlete that wants attention?
Umm....hey Kobe, what about black on black crime? Not kneeling for that? Black vs black crime goes on WAY more than police brutality....
He is right he has that right. But just like the NFL I also have the right to turn it off and not watch. I wish the different sports didn't have rules against it so we can see how the rest of the rich spoiled entitled athletes felt so I can turn them off as well . They don't because the different leagues know that it will hurt their pocket book. Sad day in America I am totally done with watching sports all together. Positive side I have more time to do more stuff with my family.
You guys just don't get it!!! If you are that stupid you don't deserve the opportunity of being on professional sports teams and making the big money you do!! Use your position to teach others how to behave and get ahead in this world!!
You want to see black respect for their country.well look at were they came from...Africa where all they do is war against each other.guess genetics can t be denied no matter where you re born
confused guy, right is bad,bad is right, all those who died like Trevon and the big tub of lard that couldn't breathe, destroyed a lot of lives before they died
Glad that he is NOT playing, and if he is still playing, he is still wrong not to stand respectfully for the national anthem. You claim "You can't breath" by your T-shirt and we know why you can't think correctly because there was no oxygen going to your brain; you're brain dead.
