Many men have failed also, if this was easy everyone would do it. God bless her for giving it her all. Anyone who sees this as a failure should try it themselves, proud this woman is serving our country
Hell men drop out too but at least she tried. The whole reason i never joined the air Force is cause of how bad my eyes are. She should be proud she tried
the seals fave a 75 percent fallure rate, the program is designed to be absolutely brutal, that one woman failed means nothing, plenty of men fail every year
Women are different. Biology tells us this. Brawn & a warrior mindset is DNA of most men. Most women get the thickness or the thinness body type with emotionally charged brain. This is DNA nobody makes their own. No women, even one that can kick my manly ass, they are out there! Will ever make it all the way. It is the nature of the beast & these Seals are our elite of the elite! Don't think I could have done it in my prime & I had a pretty good prime. LOL
My hat is off to her for even attempting.I'm sure whoever wrote this article would get their ass beat in a bar fight by her.
Hey she tried!! How many men drop out of each class? I wouldn't even attempt it!! Good for her and proud of the Navy for giving her the opportunity.
I have two daughters and won't discredit women and their abilities. But we are seriously setting up our Military men and women for failure. Women cannot pass the same strength tests that men excel at. We absolutely cannot lower these standards simply to place women into these positions. There is a standard for a reason hence the reason our military is so successful. Placing women on the front lines in positions that they are not suitable for will simply weaken our military as a whole and place the men who do meet the standards in more danger. It should not be allowed.
In boot camp, the military has different training for men and women. It's good that the training wasn't altered for her and someday maybe a female can prove herself good enough to join the special forces. I hope there won't be pressure to weaken the training in order to accommodate that goal
She only got in originally because they relaxed the qualifications just for her. She only made it to the second day and not halfway through. Good for her for trying.
Seals are special opps, trained killers. If at any point you can't make it you ring the bell. You hav to be in the best physical and mental shape.
